Legend has it there's always at least one human alive that can lead the way through the untried lands. The Great Watcher was promised by the cart pusher he knew the scenic route. Now because a single wrong turn leads to death, and his new strange friends depend upon the bum to overcome the obstacles written in the bible's unrecovered stolen pages; the tall grasses, the forbidden forest, the valley of death, and the mountains, supposedly they'd survive, and make it to the fells. Supposedly they'd see the magnificence past the edge of the cliff. The journey is hard on him, and nineteen others. Then many say someone he knows is the person needed for Heaven to open. It's the man he has watched over. Those at the fells listen to the story he tells the survivors who wait it out amonst the more of the lost, and found, and writes the story. After the journey, he relays the beginning of the Jew's life in Arlin who cannot imagine his own importance.
