Demodus and The Sword of Destiney is book 2 in the Peggy Goody series. It begins with Peggy packing her school things away and getting ready for her summer holidays. She is not looking forward to anything special happening now that her best friend Cindy has got herself a boy friend and is in no rush to get home. But as she gets closer to home she sees that she has a visitor; Savajic Menglor and he is about to make Peggy and Her mother an offer that will change their lives forever. Deep in the forest Demodus is licking his wounds after Peggy had entered his underground kingdom and retrieved Savajic's wand and had gotten clean away. He had finished his evening meal and had consumed a great deal of wine, he sat in his big leather chair, his tired eyes closed and he fell into a deep sleep. In his dreams his mind takes him back to the day he was born and his whole long life unfolds.
