It was the long weekend, which, as was the custom in my city, involved lots of activity and fanfare. There was always the feeling of freedom, adventure and a license to overindulge. Last Independence weekend was a case in point where Mark, my room-mate, planned a huge party which ran way into the morning and evolved into an all-out orgy; not that I am complaining as I was fortunate to get some booty from Samantha, who I had been eyeing for a while. Strangely, with a few high level martinis under her belt, some dirty dancing and some sweet whispers, she dropped her guard and screwed me to surrender early that morning.

We got closer after that night, even though we had not agreed on anything permanent. While, I still played with Julia, I was also sure Sam was playing as well. She made no secret of her desires and also that she was not prepared to be bound by rules set by others. There was a sense of revolution when she explained to me how she was sheltered all her life by her mom, who in turn robbed her, or so she saw it, of all the adventures that normal teens experienced. Her mom was a single parent who was the strict, religious type, which limited Sam's opportunities to participate in extra-curricular activities while in school and social activities in her community. In fact, Sam never went to any of the fairs and concerts held every year in her town center. Such was her growing up years that when the chance came for her to leave for college in the big city, she was out of her small town like someone being chased by a bounty hunter.
