This is the story of a Cilian pirate that plied there particular trade upon the Middle sea during the first century BC.

He was part of a brotherhood of Pirates that preyed on all vessels from all countries that sailed upon that particular sea. But the brotherhood made one huge mistake and was that they began to prey upon the Roman Grain ships that sailed between Alexandria and Rome. This could not be tolerated by Rome and so the Senate asked Pompey Magnus to lead a fleet and cleanse the Miiddle sea of thses Cilicians once and for all.

Pompey built his fleet and within a very short space of time the Pirates had been hunted down, and those that had not sought a new trade were caught and taken to the nearest port where they were crucified as a warning to al of those that sailed around the seas rim. But Pompey was and efficiant commander and as he hunted the Pirates at sea he had cavalry squadrons raiding thier villages and one of these Turmae's raided and raised a village on the very shores of Cilicia and whilst they were roundng u th evillagers their comander killed a young boy.Whilst the rest of them were led into slavery.

The Pirate captain fought a squadron of Pompey' ships and was overwhelmed but he survived and so he  returned to his village only to find when he had got there that it was a blackend ruin and so he had sought out answers and had been told that THE roamns had come and he was then told that his son was dead, murdered by the Romans and his wife had been sold into slavery. And so he had vowed that he woud hunt down the man who had did this and he would not rest until the Gods had witnessed his revenge, and so his journey began and it would take him to the city of Rome itself and then on the shores of Northern Gaul and service within Caesars legions.

All of the battles within these pages happened and I have tried to keep the weapons and tactics as accuarte as possible, and like my other books I have no romance or super heroes just men who thought little of th evalue of barbarian ives and were efficiant at ending it.
