This is a collection of short poems that addresses the subject area of anxiety and depression.
The aim is not just to show the dark places people go to while facing these challenges, but also to show the glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.
I am an IT professional with no training in literature at all. I write from person experience in the hope others can relate and perhaps benefit.
The majority of these poems were written in under a minute and unedited. I write using raw emotions, usually at a time when it take to much control of my life. It is in itself, a type of therapy.
Anxiety and depression is real. It is not imagined or a phase. These challenges are not a result of a person being lazy with no drive or ambition. Many people with depression are actually highly functional.
