God answers our prayers in the manner He believes will serve us best. Sometimes, the answer is hard to understand, especially when the answer given is not what was asked for. But—in due time, our Merciful Savior always gives us more and better than we prayed for. Have faith that He listens. Prayers are always answered.
Remember that with God’s help, we can also help
ourselves. We can indulge in the God-given comforts of Earth. It’s possible to minimize stress by practicing deep breathing, by walking for exercise, and by talking with family and friends. And—it helps to partake in a bite—or a bit more—of His “Divinely Delicious” chocolate for comfort. Chocolate delivers a bunch of antioxidants and feel-good chemicals to the brain as well as comfort to the taste buds. We bet that God approves of using a bit of His chocolate to help us out! So—we added
favorite recipes for chocolate comfort between the stories.
Pray a lot. Trust God. And—it’s O.K. to have a bite of God’s comfort-giving chocolate now and again.
Then, don’t forget to give praise and thanksgiving for His blessings.
God bless you,
Rosemarie, Diane and Sallie
