This book began as messages preached to inmates of the Central State Prison of Georgia but soon became the catalyst for biblical messages of hope and encouragement to all people in bondage. One will be encouraged to learn how many people in the Bible found themselves in bondage, even in prison, and were able to overcome by God’s grace and help. The hope offered in the scriptures is that even in the shackles of some binding illness, addiction, life-trap, failing marriage, emotional pit, or meaningless life, there is hope for you and great encouragement along the way, if you are a prisoner of hope.
