These two prophets were renowned for great demonstrations of the Power of God, in signs and wonders. Elisha was Elijah’s servant; and when Elijah was caught up to Heaven, Elisha replaced him and continued with his ministry, having received the double portion of Elijah’s spirit (or the anointing upon Elijah).
