The thought behind the For Real series was to help inspire a generation that have been a little hard done by. Predecessors will tell the younger generations that they have it easy; that they don’t have wars, grueling labour, rations or a lack of technology to contend with. They’ll say that life is laid out for the young people; that it’s given to them on a plate and they have the opportunities that the old folks just didn’t have back in their day. Although in part this can be agreed with, we’re not all being completely fair.
Though there are new technologies, outlooks and economies that mean that prosperity is much higher than it used to be, the Young Gen now face a whole host of new and emerging troubles. For Real aims to bridge the understanding between these generations; helping the young to appreciate the opportunities they have and the older to see that the world has a new pair of trousers that need to be broken in properly.
