In the closing phases of the Second World War, over five thousand German rocket scientists are forcibly evacuated to a newly built rocket plant in the Soviet Union. Here, former German chief engineer Ernst Baier is working on a more streamlined, more powerful rocket that can be fired from mobile ramps.
