Having had enough of the city life, Sarah Mackenzie quits her job, packs up her car full of her belongings, says good-bye to her best friend, and heads out west to outback New South Wales, back to the small town of Carringborough. Growing up, Sarah had spent all of her school holidays at her aunt Elsies farm on the outskirts of town. Over those many years, Sarah had formed friendships in town.
