Preface
Many times it 's hard to capture in words WHAT THE HEART Seeks to Express. Yes, it is such when friends speak to one another. How much more challenging is it to capture the 'WORDS' of the heart, that are many times layered with worldliness accumulated over the years, yet desiring to soar aloft on the wings of faith. The biblical authors and prophets, testified by the Son of God Himself, says that the heart is a difficult instrument to tune. When we come to face God alone in prayer, we face the greatest challenge of our lives, since God will reveal to us the truth about yourself, our world and his plan for our lives. At each moment of the encounter, we can choose to move forward to his calling or return to the step we’ve left behind.
These meditations are from such a person, even unknown to himself until God seeks him out and reveals the inner dimension of his hidden longings. Like so many today in America the Beautiful who seek the beauty of the One who created all Beauty and goodness, this author decided to set a time apart to seek God out who had been seeking him, seeking his heart. These were written to speak heart to heart with God, yet at the same time shared with his director so as to discern the strains of egotism and worldliness which can so easily keep a person held back from unleashing the Spirit's full power of transforming one's deepest self; to the Spirit's love for what he creates, the HUMAN HEART full of love for God.
