While meditation retreats can be extremely beneficial to a person's mental health, often there is little explanation regarding how to re-integrate with society afterwards. The deep mental purification that is done allows a positive perspective change, but returning to the hectic lives many of us live, we are immediately overwhelmed with stimulus and negativity. Relationships can shift, and life plans may change - it is imperative to streamline our reconnection to the world after spending a week or more silently examining the nature of the self in a retreat setting.

This is the third book in a three-volume series chronicling meditation retreats. This final volume discusses my personal journey, along with mistakes and triumphs, for the first year after I took my first 10-day Vipassana meditation retreat. It is largely an explicit account of the relevant life-changes I experienced, not a casual reminiscence of post-retreat life. I hope it helps your practice!
