This is a children's story aimed at mid-age children about an 11 year old girl named Rhiannon who is growing up on her family’s farm. She lives with her grandparents and her mother. Her one desire in life is a pony of her own. She wants this pony to the exclusion of everything else. Hunting and the reasons to hunt are discussed and explored and the Prince fends off an attack by a renegade wolf pack. This is book one in a series of six or seven books.
