Six years after her mother’s sudden fame, Genesis is turning twenty-one. Growing up the treasure of her family, she always did what was expected of her. Yet, Genesis longs to take control of her life and make her own way in the world; and now that she's about to graduate from college, she plans to do just that. Beautiful, talented, wild and strong, Genesis is determined to follow her desires and live her life as she pleases – with or without her family’s approval.  Which includes making Derek her own.

Genesis has waited for years to make Wicked’s drummer her own. With her cinnamon skin, chestnut, almond eyes and sex appeal to match her mother’s, Genesis made it through her college years with her virginity intact with plans to give it to him and only him. But he should not get it twisted. Her virginal status does not make her a pushover. She wants him on her terms and she will not settle for anything less.

Nine years her senior, Wicked’s bad boy drummer, Derek Fletcher, met Genesis when she was going on fifteen-years-old, and was completely taken by her the moment he set eyes on her. With a bit of persuasion, and under the strict supervision of Genesis’ rock star mother, Derek formed a close, intimate yet platonic relationship with the teenager.

Derek continued to live the dream of money and fame and enjoyed every minute of it. On tour he played hard and partied harder with an endless line of women who moved through is bed. With his deep-set, omniscient, sapphire eyes and dark locks, he never had to work at getting a woman to accommodate him. His secrets were his own and he preferred it that way.

But now, Derek is faced with a grown-up Genesis and suddenly finds himself wanting her in ways he has never thought of her before.  In the past, he had always been strong enough to keep his distance; but now, he cannot seem to stay away.  Genesis’ call to him is strong, and pulls at him in ways he cannot ignore; but little does he know, she will not easily submit.

Can their friendship and love for one another survive Genesis' journey to womanhood?  And if so, will Derek be willing to expose his darkest secrets to her and risk losing her friendship, loyalty and love?
