"Do you need anything else? Anything at all? " I tried to not sound too hopeful about that. To be honest, I thought he would shoo me out by then, as I was probably being a nuisance. Luke had to be tired, a long day on the road, and even longer night of fighting with broken machinery. It was a miracle he hadn't shoved me out the door and slammed it in my face.
His response was slow, almost thoughtful. " Anything, huh?" There was a hollow note of his previous playfulness as he turned his head towards me, his eyes searching me with a harsh, predatory sort of clarity. His gaze met mine. There was a hollow hunger to that gaze, and I could sense some sort of struggle within himself. He didn’t seem to blink. Finally he took a step towards me, then another.
Suddenly I felt like my heart would just stop. He had moved towards me with a feline grace, and I was completely transfixed by his gaze, like a snake hypnotized by the stare of a snake. I couldn't move, even as his cool fingers suddenly trailed over the soft curve of my chin, tilting my head upwards slightly. I could feel my pulse begin to pound with a strange mixture of apprehension and anticipation.
"I promise I won't hurt you, Rose." I heard him murmur, and his other arm snaked around the curve of my back, pulling my curvaceous figure against him, my breasts crushed against his chest. I found myself holding my breath as he gently turned my head to the side, so that he could bury his nose against the side of my neck. I felt lips graze my racing pulse, some strong pounding against his soft mouth. “You’ve been very kind.” I could feel the movement of his lips as he spoke, and a delicious shudder wriggled through me. I couldn’t seem to muster up the will to move away from him. I could almost feel my eyes glaze over.
