Naval security crippled Sparrowhawk, trying to limit Willa’s influence. Now she’s aboard the experimental ship and under attack. Her hail Mary repair, gets her out of the frying pan. Two bioengineered alien hybrid super soldiers are loyal to Abernathy. Eight survived and Abernathy must confront thirty years of fear to seek out the rest of them. Each has the potential of dominating or destroying humanity. The others though, might be controlled by the enemy.
