I’m Caida Price. This lifetime, anyway. I mean, you think you believe in reincarnation, but when you start catching glimpses of reflections that aren't yours, recognizing people you've just met, and start dreaming of a time and place a thousand years in the past, it makes you take the whole thing much more seriously.
My nearest and dearest (Platonically, anyhow) Johnathan Murray and I may have some unorthodox interests, but when I started speaking in a voice that was not mine in my sleep, my dad may have freaked out a bit and decided I was in need of spiritual guidance that did not come from my shamanistic grandparents. I don't think he would have done so if he'd known who he was bringing me to.
Don't get me wrong, the pastor is perfectly... lovely, but he is just about the opposite of what anyone would have expected a pastor to be. And I know him. From... before.
Things are changing in the world. I am changing. I don't know what to do with the memories and the things that I'm experiencing. All I can do is try, and hope that I'm doing enough, that I'm being enough, and that I don't fail those who are counting on me. My idea of the world is expanding so far beyond what my eyes can see, and it's so fast, so sudden. And there's no going back from this...
Rivermist is a series that follows a family of souls as they incarnate throughout time on different planets, planes and dimensions. Steeped in philosophy, mysticism, and magic, these are the stories of amnesiac creators wandering the cosmos in attempt to remember what they really are.
