A well-written and addictive first novel. Blue Ink Review

Beware of the full moon. This one is for all the werewolf lovers! Top Book Reviewers

A well-developed, tightly plotted fantasy; readers will want installments two and three. Kirkus Reviews

In the mid-fifteenth century, the armies of Medinia, Skoland, and Varakov are marching to war. In an effort to prevent this looming conflict, Woodrow, the Pack leader of a group of lunar-afflicted humans and wolves, has just made a dangerous trek high into the Euralene Mountains to find an ancient monk known as the Oracle. He hopes the reclusive sage will help in curtailing the growing ambitions of the dark Varakovan king, Lord Victor. But as the Oracle reveals new insight into the origins of the Beast, Woodrow fears his journey has only just begun.

Woodrows young protg, Willie, a former Medinian farm serf, is now a reluctant member of the Pack. In an attempt to protect those he loves from the kings wrath, Willie is forced to stand with the Pack and fight. Meanwhile, the Beast of Varakov pursues his own secretive mission, recruiting an unlikely aide to his cause. Together, the dark masters enlist powers from the past to assist them in carrying out a dire scheme.

In this continuing fantasy adventure, the full moon of November takes to the sky amidst betrayals and newfound alliances as a new evil arises on the coastal plains of Varakov and threatens all mankind.
