The San Luis Stations of the Cross relates each of the stations to the sufferings of people in the world today. If we view the sufferings of Jesus on the road to His crucifixion to the sufferings of people in the world today it brings us into a different union with Jesus. These meditations were inspired by the author's pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Stations of the Cross in San Luis, Colorado, hence, the title. The suffering and the horror of Jesus, the witnesses and the soldiers is movingly displayed in those life size statues on a hillside in the San Luis Valley.
