This is a screenplay.  Romantic/Comedy.

Saturday Rendezvous is a 90 minute romantic comedy screenplay based on Maurice, a loser in love.

Apart from his mother’s ‘smother love’, he watches his flat mate's arrogant and all to easy attitude with women.  While Maurice tries in vain to find a girlfriend through the advertising columns of The Times Saturday Rendezvous, he resigns himself to a life of celibacy - until Sarah answers his ad..

While most people in today’s society give the impression of wanting to be single, the many columns of advertising and matchmaking companies seems more popular than ever - hinting that it is not through choice that people are alone today. Saturday Rendezvous exposes Maurice's choices through such a scenario.
