Savonnerie Masterpiece is a historical fiction set just before the French Revolution and going forward. The main character in the book, HRM Louis Pierre Bourbon is in line to be the next King of France, has inherited Chteau Briand, that had been in the family for one-thousand years. His inheritance is derived from being a privileged noble coming from a national pension at age fifteen. Pierre, as a young man has cultivated a Machiavellian approach, due the fact that his now deceased parents always had him in their company to the most important salons of France, and in the company of the children of aristocrats and became much adapt in getting what he wants; and uses his famous connections in the nobility of France to obtain his personal goals. He orders his much older sister into a nunnery, decides to commission a Savonnerie carpet to be made by his own chosen design to rival the famed Bayeux Tapestry. Unfortunately it had been discovered that the tapestry was not a French creation, but, claimed by the Crown of England! HRM Pierre desires to bring Nobility, Priest, Commoner, and Peasant together in unity as the Masterpiece is commissioned by a French Noble and needle-pointed by a French National.
