The convert Word document into an HTML output spreadsheet eases that conversion hurdle. The next step is to use the Notepad++ spreadsheet to style the HTML statements. This cleans up typos and code errors. Validate each HTML file before copying file into Sigil.
Here we handle HTML entities and cascading stylesheets (CSS). We also validate the HTML code.
Then off to Sigil where we generate either an Epub or Mobi Epub file. You will use Kindle’s Previewer to convert the mobi.epub file into a Mobi file which will be uploaded to Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) along with a cover image.
