The growing band of misfits, mutants and mini things set to work constructing a new colony: with the view to salvaging a human race most of them were no longer part of. Their eyes are opened to harsh realities, alien horizons, dilemmas presented by what they had become and insurmountable odds to be faced.

Those who’d made a man into a shadow were perhaps merely portraying the darkness man himself was capable of. If humanity could not be fixed it would be recreated, re-molded, artificially or by alien design. While nature provided evolution, science provided mutation. However, too much of science’s discoveries turn upon humanity and fatal last efforts of the Science Division could so easily turn upon all life, until planets themselves became bones in a galactic graveyard.
