Great swaths of the clouds blanketed the land. Uncontainable winds raced to rip across Durasia, sweeping the darkness in every direction. The now billowing fog reached the city and tore through it, waking every man, woman, and child  A twisted king has stolen the people’s humanity.  The most disturbing thing was that every person had coal black eyes. I pulled myself together and looked away from the faces.  “What does this mean?” “It means that they were right, the human race isn’t human anymore.”    I am harboring a secret that could save them all….  “Look.”  I said pointing to my reflection in the pool. She gasped.  Her reflection was unchanged, but mine was different. The liquid showed me practically glowing. My skin was flushed with a pale blue light that seemed to be vibrating.  Destiny is calling me.
