The 'ShoeShine Boy' saga chronicles events in the life of a young kid growing up in Boston, Ma. At age ten he's given an opportunity to shine shoes in a shine parlor deep within the mob controlled section of Boston's notorious 'North End'.

Unbeknown to him, the shine parlor is a front for illegal betting from horses to the local ' nigga number' in his community of Roxbury. The experiences and exposure of that Summer will catapult the Shoe Shine Boy into being dubbed one of Boston's infamous 'Common Known and Notorious thief's.

The Shoe Shine boy story is about his beginning. 'Payin' My Due's and 'Plastic Money Paper Money' will chronicle his rise...fall..and resurrection. His resurrection as a new urban writer has enabled his readers to glimpse into the black underworld of trickery and deception...

Shoeshine Boy is a memoir written and lived to the fullest by first time author Charles H. Belim who has shared his life experiences with the world.  Live from the streets of the criminal mind, in stages as he grows with and learns from the Mob and teaches his readers through his experiences, good, bad, ugly and sad. Media has told his story in part, but now Mr. Belim reveals the whole truth of his travels that began as a shoe shine boy and ended with a nine year sentence that he is presently serving in Butner Federal Correctional Facility in North Carolina.
