Charles Dickens (7 February 1812 – 9 June 1870) was an English writer and social critic. He created some of the world's most memorable fictional characters and is widely regarded as one of the greatest novelists of English literature. During his life Dickens’ works enjoyed unprecedented fame, and by the twentieth century critics and scholars alike acknowledged his literary genius.

Today Dickens’ novels are what he is most well known for but Dickens’ short stories are also highly enjoyable. This collection includes Dickens’ short story collections and the individually published short stories.
