Short story enthusiasts, this book is for you. It is a collection of my favourite short stories written over a span of approximately 25 years. During this interval I was privileged to live and work in various jurisdictions on 6 continents of the world. Most similarly engaged individuals choose when possible to reside in North American style hotels. This approach prevents experiencing a close association with the local populace. In my case such intermingling was near the head of my wish list. This meant finding locales that were as representative as possible of life in the region and taking up lodgings therein.
