This book is about the civil wars in Sudan that has killed millions of innocent civilians in South Sudan and displaced other millions to Sudans Neighbouring countries. Since the independence of Sudan in 1956, the country has been engaged in identity conflicts. However, the different ruling governments failed to lead the country to an identity that could have included all the ethnic diversities and cultural components of the country. Unfortunately, the majority of the African-origin citizens in the country are subjugated under the Arab-origin minority rule since the independentce. Unfortunately, all kinds of oppressions including, religious, cultural and ethnic discrimination are practiced against them. The book reflects the suffering of the ordinary citizens in wars. Furthermore, it shows how politics played a role in dividing the people in one country into sects and clans. Many of Sudanese were unconsciously led blindfolded by the politicians to hate each other and then translate that hatred into killing of the innocent civilians. However, its only the young generations who can fix what has been destroyed by the older generation though radical changes and by redefining the identity of Sudan before the country falls apart.
