Alexander “Lex” Darkstar has been plagued by visits from the God of Chaos, Vedrok. Believing that the god is just there to torment him, Lex tries to lead a normal life, yet it is anything but normal. A chance encounter with a slave girl, Luna, brings Lex to a crossroads. Luna looks almost exactly like Sylvia, Lex’s twin sister. It isn’t until Vedrok visits Lex, something he hasn’t done for some time, that it is decided that Luna must be returned to her mother in Chimera. Everywhere Lex visits something happens to push him further along, bringing the young man closer to a destiny he had never envisioned. With outside forces stringing him along since his birth, and inner turmoil bubbling to the surface of his peaceful life, Lex must figure out what is really going on within himself.

With his friends and family by his side, Lex’s journey north into the heart of his past comes just a few short years before the next major Eclipse. With his heart set on becoming the next grand champion of the last Grand Prix, and with the reigning world champion accompanying him, things begin to fall into place. Will this journey of self-discovery help ease his troubled mind, or is Vedrok just toying with the young man’s psyche for his own amusement?
