South of Rio Chama is a good, old-fashioned Western full of all the color and adventure that readers expect. Come along with Illy as she and Johnny fight to keep the outlaws from stealing her ranch, and her cattle. To quote Jim Frenkel when speaking about Illy:
"...she has little choice but to fight Jackson the only way she knows how. With her wits, and with guns (and some other, particularly ingenious weapons—I love the hornet nests!) There’s no time for niceties like court orders or investigations, or any of the other strategies available to someone in her position today. Jackson’s brand of snake in the grass would have to be a lot more subtle today than he was in the nineteenth-century West."
Anyone that likes the Western Genre will love South of Rio Chama.
