"Upon arriving at Camp Cove it was a spectacular spot that overlooks the bay. It was quite a long drive to get to. In any case we set up a picnic style dinner spot. We shared a few laughs well I started to prepare macaroni and cheese with vegetables. I started making the white sauce in preparation to add the cheese following. Trying to be suave, I was cooking and talking at the same time I came time to add the pepper. Thinking things were going well with the cook and I let my guard down a bit. Not paying attention, and only wanted to do a few shakes of pepper, the top of the container slipped off and into the pot. Half of the ground up pepper slid into the pot of sauce. Cynthia saw the horror look on my face, we both look at the sauce had almost died laughing. Cooking the macaroni was pretty straightforward, so needless to say it was the pepper in the sauce that took the night.
The pasta with vegetables was delicious. Aside from a bit of a spicy pepper sauce the food was great.Desert did not happen. As Steve predicted, a good night turned into a great one......."
