A. PuzzleQuests are fun, immersive activities that combine the thrill of a scavenger hunt with the brain-building challenge of solving puzzles. They're like a travel guide and interactive story rolled into one. Each mission puts you in the role of a spy on a top secret assignment. As you visit famous sites and landmarks, you search for clues and collect intelligence to help solve the case.
Q. CAN YOU USE THESE ON A VACATION?
A. Absolutely! That's exactly how we designed them. We found on our own vacations that traditional travels guides didn't always hold our family's interest. We developed PuzzleQuests to be used while touring famous sites and locations, adding just enough interesting facts and stories about the destinations to make them more memorable.
Q. CAN YOU DO THE MISSIONS FROM HOME?
A. While PuzzleQuests were primarily designed to be played on location, it is possible to play from home as an intelligence officer. With a sharp eye and a few Internet searches, all answers to the mission clues can be uncovered at home. It's a great way to virtually visit and learn about a location in a fun, interactive way!
Q. HOW ARE PUZZLEQUESTS DIFFERENT FROM A SCAVENGER HUNT?
A. PuzzleQuests are much more than a simple scavenger hunt. Clues collected aren't random, but rather are integral in solving the case. Along the way, you'll face a series of puzzles that must be solved using the clues collected on location. Unraveling the puzzles will help you narrow your search and ultimately crack the case!
Q. WHAT TYPES OF PUZZLES MUST BE SOLVED?
A. Each mission contains various word puzzles, secret code ciphers, and riddles along with a final metapuzzle that incorporates information from all previous puzzles. Not only are PuzzleQuests fun, they're also good for your brain! There are several specific brain benefits associated with solving puzzles, including improved memory, increased concentration, heightened creativity, and whole brain development.

A. Even though you play the role of a spy on a fictitious assignment, missions are based on real-life events and anecdotes. Each PuzzleQuest contains a "True Story" section at the end. Once you complete the mission, you can read the real-life story behind the case!
Q. WHAT AGE LEVEL ARE PUZZLEQUESTS DESIGNED FOR?
A. PuzzleQuests are fun for both kids and adults, although young children (under 8) may wish to team up with older siblings or parents to solve some of the puzzles and ciphers. We find most of our customers choose to play cooperatively - as a family, a couple, or group of friends.

Originally hailing from Wisconsin, Daniel grew up in west Michigan and is a graduate of both the University of Michigan (B.A.) and Grand Valley State University (M.Ed.). He worked for 19 years in public education as a classroom teacher, administrator, and consultant before turning his attention to design and publishing.
