Daisy glanced across the pool to where Jack was emerging from the water. His skin was bronzed and he had sleek muscles over every visible inch of his body. He was exactly the kind of man that Daisy imagined losing her virginity to. He was one of the few guys, though there were many hot ones in Arizona where she lived, that she had been crushing on for years.
It wasn't that she had never had an offer before. But, the offers had all come from geeky guys who were in her advanced placement classes in high school. Now that she was eighteen, she wanted to fully move forward into adult hood and she didn't want to graduate high school as a virgin. She didn't have long to go. It was April.
Jack had graduated the year before. He was a freshman in college.
He was also the boy next door. Their parents had been having backyard barbeques and pool parties since they were in grade school.
Jack had gone to the local public school while Daisy's parents had sent her to a private school.
"Yo, Daisy, you want a soda?" Jack asked dipping his hand into the cooler.
"Sure," Daisy said from the spot where she was sunbathing.
He brought the soda to her and flopped in the chair next to her.
"A couple of my buddies are going to be over tonight for a Magic the Gathering tournament. You want to come?" Playing was the main thing that had kept Jack and Daisy as friends. Tournaments were something she hadn't been invited to in about a year. She had kind of thought that Jack had stopped playing since he started college.
But, apparently not. And. she was glad. She liked the idea of going over to hang out with Jack.

Daisy knocked on the window, as she had when they were teenagers. Jack's bedroom was in the basement and he had a window at ground level.
