“Stumpy the Puppy and Patchy the Kitten Become Best Friend” is a story for children about Stumpy – a naughty puppy, eating everything around the house. When Stumpy is sent to the garden as a punishment for his bad behaviour, he finds a little kitten there and brings it home. The children fall in love in the kitten and manage to convince their parents to keep it. The children call the kitten – Patchy. Stumpy and Patchy become best friends but they make a lot of hassle around the house, so the parents ask the children to train the pets. After the training, Stumpy and Patchy know how to behave properly and are allowed to play with the children. The story teaches the importance of taking the responsibility for the pets.
