Ivy did it. She kissed the dead, er...cursed, prince and woke him up. And she survived! But the teenage witch soon discovers that no good deed goes unpunished. In order to keep Prince Sebastian alive long enough for him to help save their magically hidden town of Salmagundi, she had to bond with him.

Ivy should've asked more questions about what that entails before agreeing to this. Especially after he announces that he plans on transforming her into what she despises most.

While her cousin Thane scrambles to find a way to break the bond keeping her tethered to Prince Sebastian, Ivy tries to acclimate to the new magic manifesting at the oddest moments while keeping ahold of her old magic. The two magics don't seem to get along.

Ivy finds that in order to maintain her sanity in this roller coaster ride to get back home, she must rely on the people around her, which isn't her strong suit. Especially with Garren, the one her heart keeps reaching for while her brain isn't convinced that he even wants to be with her. He is the master of mixed signals.

But Ivy knows that if they could just get back home to Salmagundi, everything will works itself out. But she has to get there first. With the witch-hunting Eradicators hot on their trail, a powerful head-strong prince stalking her, and the approaching full moon threatening to slow them down, they're not sure they'll make it home in time to even keep Ivy human.
