The subjects include books, music, movies, politics, Catholic faith, Catholic doubt, cigarettes, lawn mowers, love, sex, marriage, cats, dogs, and others. The project attracted a small but enthusiastic and supportive audience, and the author has been encouraged in his hope that the best of them are worth preserving in a convenient form; hence this book, which contains roughly one fourth of the journal entries.
