The summer of 1969 was a turbulent time in human history full of moral re-evaluation and social upheaval. Tony Feathermin and Nick Adams existed during this time in Vancouver, British Columbia; and polar opposites in nearly every way. Tony is a petty crook with blood on  his hands and Nick is a decorated police officer with the Vancouver Police Department. Never in their wildest dreams could they have imagined that by a bizarre twist of fate they would be snatched from their daily lives and catapulted through a dimensional vortex to a strange, archaic world where magic is real and the way of the sword is considered high tech warfare.

Follow them as they join forces with the beautiful Azdonian centurion, Talys and her friends, Raena and Akiri, Dominay twins of royal blood to seek a way to stem the steady advancement of the invading Bordeen. If not stopped the demon worshipping Bordeen and the evil sorceress known as the Black Witch would conquer all of Taad one provincial kingdom at a time and all those who surive the massacre would be sacrificed to the demon god, Awns.

With the aid of mercenaries, traveling musicians and collection of unsual characters; Tony and Nick soon discover that there is more than one odd coincidence linking them to this medieval world of magic; and even stranger, to each other.
