A hot, muggy morning in Memphis, a seemingly sane, seasoned teacher goes ‘off the rails’ during his normally mundane morning commute… when the car in front of him doesn’t use its blinker. And so it begins, lessons must be taught on this hot July day deep in the heart of the Blues. Jaywalkers and oblivious drivers become former jaywalkers and past drivers as this educator begins to unwind his mind and violently wind his way down to the Mississippi in his big green Suburban. Amazingly? He goes virtually unnoticed in the most obvious place…rush hour traffic. A metaphor for the Teacher who has been invisible most of his life…but the 'Voice' has bubbled up; he has six lanes of classroom and a brand new Lesson Plan! He just wants to give back to the town and this traffic that has given him this temporary insanity!
