The Adventures of Henry the City Cat series is about a tuxedo cat named Henry, and written from Henry's perspective. The series begins with Henry's adoption, and moving to an apartment in the city.  Henry stands on the arm of the sofa to look outside.  He spots other kittens and cats playing outside and begs "mom" to let him go outside to play, hunt, and do what the other kittens and cats are doing.   However, Henry is too young to play outside by himself; So, he has to wait until he is older.

This new volume and last of the series follows Henry from the first time he has permission to go outside, to climbing the largest tree he has ever seen.  Henry finds a friend in Orangey, an older, wiser cat who teaches Henry how to explore the concrete jungle safely.
