The Adventures of Puppy Poor Paw

Puppy Poor Paw is a regular puppy whose Christmas is about to change when he is attacked by two gormless teenagers and left for dead in the gutter. Unfortunately for Puppy Poor Paw, he has a special secret but remembers nothing about. And as the clock starts ticking, Puppy Poor may not live long enough to find out what that secret is!

Following many twists and turns, Puppy Poor Paw is a hilarious comedy romp in which a young puppy seeks to find his true self and escape the evil forces that are pursuing him.

Interview with the author.

So what makes The Adventures of Puppy Poor Paw so special?

The Adventures of Puppy Poor Paw is the classic, comic adventure tale of the character who travels life trying to find an identity, a bit like Oliver Twist meets the Fugitive.  Although a children’s comedy, The Adventures of Puppy Poor Paw deals with social issues such as relationships, friendships, egotism, delusion, trust and ultimately success.

Why should readers give this book a try?

For young children or adults who enjoyed Hacker Gran, the Puppy Poor Paw series contains a similar array of funny characters including Zico and Blade, two East End puppy gangster twins, a crow who ‘understands’ hairstyles, an Easter Bunny who enjoys a pint at the pub and later on, a professor who buys a Time Machine on Ebay. Although it might seem a bit scary on first viewing, no animals get hurt and no puppies were injured during the writing of the book! It’s a great book for the pre-teen audience and beyond!

Does Puppy Poor Paw come with teaching resources like Hacker Gran?
