Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) is a Danish writer, well-known mostly for his fairytales. In 1829 was published Andersen's fantastic story "A Journey on Foot from Holmen's Canal to the East Point of Amager". Alter that came out his fairy tales, which brought him worldwide fame. Andersen's tales are still read by many people with pleasure. "The Angel" fairy tale was first published in 1843. It immediately became popular among children and adults.
