Dumile Dlakiyas biography, tells us about the real life occurrences that characterized his life from childhood until adulthood. The book begins with Dlakiyas boyhood, which was spent mostly growing up in the rural areas of Transkei which was the homeland of the Xhosa tribe which is now under the Republic of South Africa. He takes us through his life during his school days and up to tertiary level. One interesting event in Dumiles childhood that is portrayed in the Book is the description of how Dumile would resist going to school because he liked to be riding horses and train them. The author gives us an insight of how hard and risky it was for him to travel to work and all the challenges he faced in the corporate environment.
