In the event of trying to find his way, he stumbles on an injured soldier, who forces him away and promises to help him find his friend. They decide to hide in the marshes only to be captured by a group of Marsh Arab. Their struggles for survival continue, faced with fresh challenges with every escape route closed in their face. The novel based on true-life stories and historical events that happened in Iraq during Saddams Anfal campaign.
