Franco de Angelo, a vicious gangland criminal, stood in the dock scowling at the jury as he was sentenced. He was pronounced guilty and the judge gave him the maximum sentence. He told Franco that he and the jury thought he was a thoroughly bad lot. Franco vowed to take revenge on every last one of the jurors.
