Brian Foley and his friends grew up at a time when political correctnes was not something to be concerned about and helicopter parents were unheard of.  On the grounds of The Pines, a nursing home for the old and the mentally ill, five friends spent their teenage years engaging in boyhood antics and mischief, while coming of age in the 60's when life was simpler and technology non-existant.

Raised in the New England countryside in the shadow of The Pines, Brian, one of eleven children, honed the skills that would lead him to an extremely successful career.  Surrounded by his close friends, his experiences growing up in this unorthodox environment influenced Brian Foley's upbringing and informed his decsions.

The Boys of The Pines is the story of a young man who, through hard work and shrewd decision-making accomplished more than anyone's wildest expectations.
