Joseph Rudyard Kipling was born in British India in a family of John Lockwood Kipling and Alice McDonald. He was an English story writer, he wrote many stories, tales and poems for children. He was the most popular writer in England in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. In 1907, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature that made him the first English writer and the youngest recipient who got the prize. Once upon a time there was a man – Mr. Bronckhorst who served in the army. He had a wife who was fifteen years younger than her husband. She was a large, pale, quiet woman, with heavy eyelids, over weak eyes, and hair that turned red or yellow as the lights fell on it. Mr. Bronckhorst was a rude man, he had not any respect for public and he was a liar. His manner towards his wife was coarse. Read it till the end to know what the accident brought her to boiling point?
