“You guys are the best at solving mysterie,” Kris said. “In fact, that’s kind of why I am here.”
“Hey, look at that, Jamie,” Kendall exclaimed. “We’re not even open yet and we’ve already got our first case.”
Kris dropped the backpack he was carrying and pulled out an electronic tablet. He turned it on and tapped the screen. A moment later he was looking at an online auction.
“You know how much my mom loves decorating with strange stuff,” Kris said. The Brodericks knew. They had been to Kris’ house several times and loved to look at all the interesting things his mother had collected.
“Well, my mom loves shipwreck stuff. I saw this thing online and I was wondering if you could give me your opinion?”
