The circular photos published in the present Book form a part of a huge project called "The Circle of Wisdom". The art project was designed, projected and executed by artist Conrado Maletá (Cuba, 1979) and Naama Sarid (Israel, 1977). Almost the totality of this works were made in Madrid, Spain between the years 2009 and 2011. The conceptual base idea was centered in the goal of creating a group of photographic works that have as common aesthetic principle the circular format and the baroque detailed visualization.
The baroque and the dynamic format add to the images an additional "textuality" and subconscious a taste of manuality, handmade characteristic; leading to the observer in the sense of luxury and aesthetic enjoyment. Using strong editorial work helps to get the “handmade” spirit that contrast deeply with the minimalism and clearness of photos created in the modern world of technology and sophistication.
