The name "Armageddon" originates in the Biblical "Book of Revelations" (16:16). For nearly 2000 years scholars were unable to agree about what it means. That has now changed. Recently the world entered a time of crisis with the global order disrupted by dangerous, financial speculation; the spread of incessant violence, especially in the Middle East ("along the great river Euphrates" - 9:14); and ("to the east" (Russia an China) - 16:12) the most dangerous weapons in the hands of the vengeful. Undoubtedly this troubled period will change history forever. In addition, it is apparent that what is happening around the world is remarkably similar to the events leading to Armageddon that are described in "Revelations" and later in the predictions disclosed at Fatima in 1917 - the "Three Secrets" that explain what was foretold almost two millennia ago. The parallels between current events and these two, vital historical sources cannot be easily dismissed. They are too specific. This compelling, fact-based novel is set in the Far East and follows the daring exploits of an American spy operating deep undercover in this perilous environment. The plot details what he discovered about the true China - a monstrous totalitarian state that will soon cause World War III. This includes the rampant genocide in the country; police-state tactics; and the ongoing espionage that has stolen America's most vital technology. The reader also learns about the carefully implemented scheme to wage a grand, expansionist war, one that embodies the strategy outlined in the "Art of War" (the great treatise of Chinese military theory) and is focused on the most lethal tool of mass murder ever devised. (At various stages in the plot relevant parallels to "Revelations" and the "Three Secrets" are noted.) In essence, "The Coming of Armageddon" illustrates vividly in a captivating novel the most important story of this era and perhaps any. Inexplicably this compelling subject is generally being overlooked. Soon, however, that will change because events will force the world belatedly to take notice. By then it may be too late.
